Barko Security – born in the bush

Barko Security is an Australian company based in Grafton, New South Wales. CEO Tye M. Atkinson has an extensive background in both IT and managing large, remote Australian farming and livestock operations. Bringing the two together, Tye has created the Barko team with like-minded professionals who are passionate about developing technologically advanced security and management products for rural and remote locations.

They saw that people on the land needed a better security and management solution: one that helped to fight the relentless rise in farm crime and overcome the issues created by distance and remote management.

It took two and a half years of research, product development and testing before the Barko RVT was released to market. With regular software security updates and ongoing product improvement cycles, the Barko Security RVT range will always represent the most modern, up-to-date and sophisticated farm security products available on the market.
